(NEW YORK, NY — November 3, 2025) — This November 14-16, 2025, Basic.Space will bring its curated, private shopping experience to New York following its successful debut in Los Angeles in March 2025.

Basic.Space will transform over 20,000-square-feet of 575 Broadway into a curated display of collectible design, art, and fashion pieces, available to shop both in-person and using the Basic.Space app, which features an AI-powered personalized feed, exclusive access to events, and personalized offers.

Combining immersive installations with a shoppable retail experience, the event will showcase archival and contemporary works from leading artists, designers, galleries, and brands.

“Basic.Space NY is a culmination of everything we’ve experimented with over the years—putting a real emphasis on how one discovers something that they love through a curated experience, while also providing convenience to make a meaningful purchase both IRL and URL through the Basic.Space app and site," says Jesse Lee, Basic.Space Founder and CEO.

Basic.Space will debut Devon Turnbull’s HiFi Pursuit Listening Room Dream No. 2 in New York for the first time: a one-of-a-kind, hand-built sound system crafted from components and techniques gathered during the artist’s audio pilgrimages around the world. Created by multidisciplinary artist Devon Turnbull, who produces audio equipment under the moniker OJAS, this listening room was originally commissioned for the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art’s exhibition Art of Noise, and is one of a handful of Turnbull’s “shrines to music,” inviting visitors to slow down and engage deeply with the act of listening. Made possible by the generous loan of Jackie & Joby Pritzker.

Marcel Dzama

David Zwirner Gallery will present a curated selection of artworks by Marcel Dzama at Basic.Space NY. This presentation follows Basic.Space’s recent acquisition of Platform, the e-commerce destination for art and artist collaborations originally conceived by David Zwirner. “We’re excited to present works by Marcel Dzama at Basic.Space New York. Their innovative methods of combining curated online and in-person experiences to reach a wider audience of art enthusiasts align with the gallery’s ongoing goal of embracing and enabling a new generation of collectors,” explains Lucas Zwirner.

Gufram x The Andy Warhol Foundation

Following the release of ANDY’S CACTUS in 2022, Gufram continues their partnership with The Andy Warhol Foundation with three new editions of the irreverent Gufram CACTUS®, inspired by Warhol’s 1986 Fright Wig self-portraits. Created in 1972 by Guido Drocco and Franco Mello, CACTUS is a functional sculpture-coat rack hybrid. Through the collaboration with The Andy Warhol Foundation, Gufram places one of the Italian Radical Design Movement’s most iconic objects in conversation with Warhol’s pop art legacy. ANDY’S CACTUS has been produced in limited editions of 99 pieces per colorway and will be available to buy at Basic.Space NY.

At Basic.Space NY, SR_A will display pieces from its bespoke capsule menswear collection, which is equally inspired by urban and industrial design as it is the natural world with a “focus on resilience, self expression, autonomy, and utility,” says Ross. Coming out of the sale of his previous venture, A-Cold-Wall, Ross has established SR_A as an innovative voice in fashion and design spaces, boasting recent partnerships with Zara and the LVMH group. Alongside “pioneering retail experiences such as Basic.Space,” the studio's focus is on a novel business approach through artistic independence, explains SR_A Co-Founder Yi Ng.

Laffanour | Galerie Downtown will showcase the work of Belgian fashion designer Kris Van Assche, former artistic director of Dior Homme and Berluti, through an exhibition of 14 bronze pieces conceived as true object-sculptures. The vases and vessels are “something totally different than what everyone was expecting,” says founder François Laffanour, highlighting Van Assche’s unique approach to sculptural objects. Assche notes that the idea of crafting vessels from bronze came from Laffanour, and the result “remains one of [his] favorite projects.” Laffanour will display the series alongside Jean Royère’s Polar Bear Sofa and other pieces from the gallery’s renowned collection of designers, like Jean Prouvé and Charlotte Perriand.

Brooklyn-based collective MSCHF will present a rare display of their most recognizable pieces, including the viral Global Supply Chain Telephone Handbag collection; the MSCHF x Gufram Cut Pratone; the Grille Grill, a BBQ grill made from an AMG grille; and a sword from the Guns 2 Swords collection, which collects firearms to be melted down and reforged into handcrafted swords. The resulting curation will display a selection of works that trace the group’s evolution from viral disruption to institutional critique, and chart MSCHF’s ongoing practice of using brands, products, and objects as raw material for cultural commentary.

Eckhaus Latta x The Arcades

Featuring artists like Noe Kuremoto, EWE Studio, and Héctor Esrawe, the gallery’s collaboration with Basic.Space will “juxtapose contemporary creations with archival works of art to reveal a timeless consistency that highlights the depth of these artisanal abilities,” explains founder Melanie Courbet.
